Born from the Avatar Innovations program and powered by collaboration with SAIT’s CERCUTS laboratory, our team set out to transform how the energy industry views waste.

Every year, thousands of barrels of paraffin-rich tank sludge are treated as disposable waste — costly to handle and environmentally harmful. RePhase saw opportunity where others saw a problem. By combining chemical engineering, modular design, and data-driven insight, we developed a portable, waterless recovery system that extracts high-value wax and oil directly from sludge at the source.

Today, RePhase is redefining tank cleaning economics — creating a cleaner, more efficient, and profitable path forward for refineries and contractors alike.
